Should you require medical attention while onboard, the Medical Center staff is available 24 hours a day.  The Medical Center is staffed and equipped to treat routine medical conditions as well as to initiate stabilization of more serious conditions.  Physicians are available to render services at a customary fee.  While at sea or in port, the availability of medical care may be limited.  The Medical Center has daily office hours which are listed in the Fun Times newsletter.  The medical staff is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies.  All charges for medical services will be charged to your Sail & Sign account.  A receipt will be provided should you need to submit the charges to your medical insurance provider upon return.

Medication

Over the counter medications for cold, cough, upset stomach or other minor illnesses can be purchased at the Medical Center during business hours.  Some of these items may also be purchased in the shops onboard.  I recommend packing over the counter medications, as the ones available onboard will be at a much higher cost than purchasing at home. Prescription drugs and vitamins may not be readily available, either onboard the ship or in ports.
