Mandatory Evacuation Drill:

All passengers must attend a mandatory lifeboat safety drill prior to embarkation. This important drill directs you through operating procedures should there be an emergency onboard.  Life jackets are located in the closet of each stateroom and you can ask your stateroom host if you require additional sizes. Once the drill announcement is made over the loudspeaker, proceed to the designated deck and locate your assigned lifeboat drill station (as shown on the back of your stateroom door and your Key to the World Card). Crew members will be stationed throughout the ship to assist you with finding your assigned location. Upon arrival at your drill station, crew members will notate your room number for a roll call to ensure that everyone onboard the ship is accounted for. You must bring your Key to the World Cards.

Please note that elevators are stopped a few minutes prior to the start of the drill.  If you are traveling with someone needing assistance or who is traveling in a wheelchair, it is best to arrive early.  After the drill, elevator services will resume, but the elevators will be extremely crowded. We suggest waiting a short while instead of contending with the crowds.
