Traveling With Children:

While onboard remember to keep everyone adequately covered in sunscreen or rash guards, and offer plenty of liquids to keep children hydrated. Make sure to take lots of pictures- and be sure to share them with us!

Should you need a stroller while onboard the ship you will find that they are available free of charge with the exception of a $200 deposit, which will be refunded when you return the stroller. The number of available strollers is limited, so be sure to request one early. If you decide to bring your own stroller, consider an umbrella style as it will take up less room in your cabin. Cribs (Pack N’ Play) can be requested prior to sailing.

It’s A Small World Nursery is available on the Dream. There are no in-room babysitting services onboard the ships. Unlike the included activity programs for older children, there is a charge of $9 per hour for nursery services. Additional children in the same family will be charged $8 per hour.

While onboard the ship infants and toddlers who are still in diapers will enjoy specially designated water areas and pools.

Older children will enjoy a host of activities through the various Youth Clubs as well! Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab are for children ages 3 to 12- the Club and Lab are connected spaces and activities often have a learning or more participatory element to them. Younger children’s programs are more often in the Club and include story time, character greetings, and movement activities.

Edge is for ages 11 to 14 and ‘Tweens rule’! Unlike with the younger clubs, kids at the Edge can come and go as they please. The activities at Edge range from drawing and cooking classes, to dodge ball and computer games. Parents may be surprised to see that activities are scheduled past midnight on some nights.

Vibe is for guests aged 14 to 17 years and is one of the coolest spots on the ship. Counselors lead the activities but teens are given much autonomy in the structure of the programing during the cruise. Parents should note that the only curfew for teens onboard is whatever one they impose themselves.
