Your preselected port arrival time was chosen when you set up your Online Check-in. When you arrive at Port Canaveral cruise terminal you should make your way to the security screening area. Once you clear security take the escalator or elevator to the check in area. Please have all of your cruise forms and documentation, including Passport or Birth Certificates and ID, ready to present for each member of the traveling party. Please complete your Cruise Contract, Embark-Departure Form, and your Payment Authorization Form prior to arrival. Please note that you must arrive on time. Boarding usually begins by 1:00pm and all passengers must be onboard the ship by 3:45pm. Should you incur a delay please call 1-800-395-9374.
It is important to keep in mind that your luggage may take several hours to be delivered to your stateroom. If you have any items (medications, essentials, etc.) that you will need during this transition please pack them in your carry-on. If you plan to use the pool immediately after boarding you may also want to pack a swimsuit and change of clothes. See page 4 of your Disney Cruise Line folio for important information regarding prohibited items brought onboard the ship.
Once onboard your Disney Cruise your Key to the World Cardwill function as your room key and charging card on the ship. Your card will list your dining rotation (Main Dining or Second Seating) and may be used to charge everything you purchase on the ship and at Castaway Cay- including beverage services, spa, salon services, photography, medical, laundry services, as well as any purchases from the retail shops.
We strongly recommend that you do not wait until the last night to check your bill or make a payment on your account as you will find incredibly long lines. Instead, you might want to check your bill daily to make sure that the charged amounts are accurate.
While exploring the various ports you will need to have actual currency in order to make purchases. Most retail stores in the Bahamas and Caribbean will accept U.S. currency and major credit cards. For Mediterranean and European cruises, it is a good idea to bring traveler’s checks to exchange for local currency.
