Your MagicBand will be used to enter your resort room, theme park admission, and charging to your room. You will need to set up a PIN code to use your charging privileges. If you did not do this through Online Check-In, you can at the front desk of your resort.

MagicBands will no longer be provided complimentary to Disney Resort hotel Guests with arrivals beginning January 1, 2021.  You can purchase them at a discounted rate through your My Disney Experience account (starting at $5). We highly recommend using a MagicBand during your stay.

You can use your MagicBand from a past visit as long as it is still active and linked to your My Disney Experience account.  Unfortunately, you can not share or use bands that have been previously linked to another person.

If you opt out of MagicBands, you will need to go to your resort’s front desk prior to going to a theme park.  Here you will be given a plastic Key To The World Card.  This card will be used for hotel room entry, theme park entry, charging purchases to your hotel room, and at select Photopass locations.

Please keep in mind, in order to receive some Photopass pictures you are required to have a MagicBand.  These locations include Slinky Dog Dash, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen Ever After and more.
